SCD VENUE & LOCATION

In September 2019, SCD began its life in the former Mothercare shop in Sutton's St Nicholas Shopping Centre. SCD had been looking for a location in the town centre to help make dance as inclusive as possible. 

LOCATION

SCD is located in the centre of Sutton High Street as shown on the map below. Travel to us by train using Sutton Station - an easy 5 min walk straight down the high street to SCD. Otherwise we have major bus stops just 2 minutes away connecting us easily to Croydon, Morden, Mitcham, Cheam and Banstead.

You will find SCD by entering the St Nics shopping centre opposite Marks & Spencer in the High Street. Head up the ramp to your left, walking past Primark and find us next to Smiggle. 

Our venue is air-conditioned, we have toilets and some small spaces for changing clothes. We have three high spec dance studios and a very welcoming 'Wait & Create' area with all kinds of interesting activities taking place. 

Parking is available on site (charged) within the St Nicholas Centre - the entrance for this, on St Nicholas Way is at the cinema as the car park and cinema are the same building. You then cross the road to access SCD.  There is also parking at the nearby ASDA (free for 2 hours), 50 metres along St Nicholas Way.  Free parking (for a fixed time) is available in Morrisons, & Sainsburys. There is very limited off street parking in the evenings in the nearby area.

**EVENING ACCESS**

See the videos below for how to get into SCD after 6.30pm when the main shopping centre doors are closed. Thursday the doors close at 7pm.

Simply use the car park lift to access Level 2 of the shopping centre then turn right, towards Primark and SCD is on your right.

Evening access is step free.
