UDO ESSEX STREET DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025

We will be registering Red Crew for this competition next year. As always, this is NOT compulsory but it is very important we know whether your dancer can make this so Jaéda can plan accordingly. 

As always, I DO NOT have any information regarding timings of the day. For the time being, you will need to plan for this as a whole day event. As soon as I know the finer details - which is ALWAYS the week leading up to the competition, you will be the first to know.

As per the Crew Agreement, regular missed classes may result in your dancer being removed from the competition set (this does not affect their overall place in Red Crew). 

Solos and Duos will be available to register for, this will be discussed later this term during class and SJ will organise accordingly. 

There will be two extra rehearsals for this competition which are compulsory:

Sunday 12th January 2-4.30pm

Friday 24th January their normal class time will be extended by 1 hour and will finish at 8.30pm. 

Extra costs: 

As this event is outside of the SCD schedule, this will require some additional costs. 

Dancer Ticket - £22 approx.

Spectator Ticket - £20 approx. 

We will be purchasing your dancer's ticket at the same time as registering the team, this will then be charged to your SCD account. 

YOU are responsible to purchase your spectator tickets only. Please use this link to buy as many tickets as you need. Kindly note, these are non-refundable. I advise you do this soon as the event may sell out. 

All dancers must have the SCD uniform consisting of SCD t-shirt, joggers and white trainers for this competition. These are available to purchase online or at our front desk.

Due to data protection, UDO will not let us register the students individually. You (the parent/carer) must do this. Please use this link to register your child for a UDO account. Signing up is free of charge.

Please select the 'Parent/Guardian' tab and complete YOUR information. Then click NEW LINKED MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT to then add your DANCERS information. When asked for 'Division/Category' please select Intermediate. You will receive an UDO ID number which you will need to complete the form below.
