WHAT IS BOUNCE?
BOUNCE is SCD's gymnastics for dancers program, supporting dancers to gain strength, flexibility and confidence by adding a range of gymnastic skills to their dance moves... all led by qualified and experienced coaches.
Students will be taught specific skills, given free choice to explore their own ideas and transition onto use of age-appropriate gymnastics equipment.
BOUNCE classes run every week at SCD
Acro Dance [School Yrs 4-6] Wednesdays 6.30pm
Acro Dance (High School) Wednesday 7.30pm
BOUNCE PreSchool 18-30 months with grownups Fridays 1.00pm
BOUNCE PreSchool 30 months - 5 years without grownup Fridays 1.45pm
BOUNCE Gym4Dance (RECEPTION-YR2) Friday 4.15pm
BOUNCE gym4dancers (SCHOOL YRS 3-6) Friday 5pm

Younger sessions finish with a fun circle time to bring everyone back together, encouraging social skills and team work. Older age sessions always feature a debrief for the students to review progress, build each other up and know what to focus on before the next class.

WELCOME TO PRE SCHOOL BOUNCE
Following the launch of SCD's BOUNCE classes in September 2023, we have received a lot of interest in preschool BOUNCE classes. So, as of February 2024, we are delighted to launch preschool BOUNCE classes to work alongside SCD's 'Created to Move' and 'Little Dance' class styles.
We are offering free trials for the 18-30 months (1.00pm) class .. simply use the email button on this page to apply for your place. Places are available on a first come first served basis.

SCD BOUNCE competition - sunday 23rd june
A friendly and positive competition where all gymnasts will be rewarded for their efforts.
COMPETITION : Floor Only Gymnastics Competition
VENUE : Singlegate Primary School, South Gardens, London SW19 2NT
TIMING : The competition will run in the morning and into the early afternoon. Timings will be given out nearer the time, once entries have been secured. There will be a timed round for your child to attend, which usually lasts around an hour/hour and a half.
EXTRA COSTS : The cost to participate is £10 per child. There is no cost for spectators. Payment for this event is due the week after half term (3rd June) via Auto-Pay on your SCD account.
