welcome to september 23 and beyond...
As we prepare to finish the '22-'23 term with a brilliant summer of classes and events we hope this page gives you the information you need for the new term.
We are very excited to share with you about all of the new additions we’ve made for this coming September, including;
- FAME is completely relaunching for all ages as we are adding (drum roll please) SINGING and ACTING to our awesome Fame DANCING in all children and youth FAME classes. Our current team continues and our awesome new teachers will join them! To really invest in this class we are making this now a 90 minutes class for School Years 1 and upwards.
- Due to lots of requests we are now introducing ‘BOUNCE’ our brand new ‘gym4dancers’ programme - for all ages. Weds + Fri
- We’ve streamlined our age groups so Reception age students now have classes all to themselves - no sharing here ;)
- Huge news is that behind the scenes Gemma has been working hard, gone through lots of assessments and now all SCD Ballet is run within our exciting new Royal Ballet School partnership. SCD is the first dance school in our part of London to achieve this affiliate status!
- Our Contemporary Rambert Grades classes now also include Grade 4 (as well as 1,2&3).
- We’ve added some new adult classes including TANGO and also a brand new Trigger Point Pilates programme
- SCDJ returns this September for all our budding DJs and music producers - with sessions on Mondays
- Our very popular DANCE LAB for High School students is multiplying and we are adding an all new DANCE LAB Juniors also on Fridays - to offer more of this high level development class to our younger enthusiasts students.
- We’ve added more choice to our ‘Little Classes’ so ‘Little Fame’, 'Little Bounce' and ‘Little Mix It’ is also available alongside Street, Ballet and Contemporary for our preschoolers
- We are thrilled to be launching Dance Inc Juniors to work with more young dancers with additional needs on Fridays.
- AND for the first time in Sutton we are proud to say SCD is launching K-POP classes! Watch this space…!

Again, we want to ensure our current enrolled members are booked into the right classes before we tell the world about the new timetable
